The 1890 House Museum

For history buffs and fans of the Victorian era, the 1890 House Museum makes it easy to take a step back in time to enjoy a fascinating look at life before the turn of the century. This historic home features 30 accurately restored rooms, spectacular stained glass, decorative ceilings, exhibits that regularly change, and much more. In addition to the rich history and architecture, the center hosts regular special events to enjoy all throughout the year, making for an interesting visit each time.

Greek Peak Mountain Resort

With a mix of exciting outdoor winter activities and an indoor water park, Greek Peak Mountain Resort has thrilling family fun for all. Enjoy mountain biking, a ski lift, numerous skiing trails, hiking, and more. The Cascades Indoor Waterpark features three stories of tubes and slides, indoor wave pool, hot tub, and more ways to cool off (or keep warm). Unlike the ski slopes, Cascades Indoor Waterpark is open year-round, and the resort often hosts events and special engagements throughout the year as well.

Sciencenter

Since 1983, the Sciencenter has been educating and entertaining guests and families in a fun hands-on learning center. This non-profit organization is home to many exhibits, interactive learning stations, games, and more to foster growing minds and older science enthusiasts alike. With many different areas of interest, including space, animal life, health, and the Sagan Planet Walk, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. In addition to regular exhibits, special programs such as Summer School can be enjoyed throughout the year.
